IP rating stands for Ingress Protection code, which describes a product’s ability to endure liquid or dust intrusion. - IP 66: Dust proof. Protected against powerful jets of water from all directions. Limited liquid entry.
- IP 67: Dust proof. Protected against water immersion between 15 cm and 1 m.
Importance of IP rating in Hybrid Light Towers:
- IP rating helps to select the product according to the requirement of the application. For example: for outdoor usage, IP ratings of 65, 66, 67 are preferred, whereas IP ratings of 44 or below are used for indoor applications.
